"Ship's Log, Stardate 94127.52:
I finally wore the Beyond the End of Time blouse that I ordered from F+F.
It's very adjustable, so I decided to try wearing it a few different ways.
First, with everything buttoned on, buttoned up, and tied to the chin!
I haven't worn full-on lolita in a while.
I missed the bobbing skirt part of it, but ouji is easier to get around in.
Shoes: Mojo Moxy
(I'm just using extra long ribbons to tie them)
Skirt: Enchantlic Enchantilly
Blouse, Vest: F+F
Bag: One of the D.I.Y. book boxes
Hat: keep reading...
This one looked alright with hair down as well,
but it tangles fast that way and I have to find a place to go brush it out.
Each half is carefully looped back through the hat band.
I pinned in place and fluffed loose a few curls.
So, about the hat...
It's just a plain old floppy black hat with the safety rope on it from F21!
I used up the leftover materials from the tricorn and bicorn to trim it.
Speaking of tricorns and bicorns...
This time I wore the blouse with the jabot halves pinned in reverse.
I wanted a bat/cape-like look, and for all the lacing to show.
I felt very Kingdom Hearts-y, haha!
This one is basically a repeat, but with the new blouse, sans jabot.
I tried mixing it up a little bit by re-lacing the blouse this time.
The book is the other of the two I made out of the Hobby Lobby boxes.
I thought Moby Dick would be appropriate at times...
A bit last minute, so I'll include it in next week's report: I went to a friend's booth at a street fair this weekend! I got brooches, a necklace, ring, etc. that I'll take some pics of and wear soon. The brooches are awesome little antique frames in resin with old romantic paintings in them.
While I was out, I also grabbed a couple of mooks, because I am still mad about Cracker Jacks. There is something so immensely satisfying about pulling yet another pair of ear muffs or a baby head bag out of a magazine in front of a very confused Mr. J...
Until next time! Bear signing off!"
