Episode 13: Busy Busy!

Medical and family events have kept me pretty busy lately, sorry.

I did try the Putumayo pants with the Atelier Pierot bolero... and hated it, haha.  So I went without.

I originally chose the Chantilly Queen Cat tights, but go figure, once worn and stretched, they weren't really black enough to get the balance right.  When you wear them with the dress, they are dark enough, but even compared to the pinstripe pants and sheer black tights, they were lighter.

I washed my F+F blouse on hot with normal laundry, like a dolt, and so I'll need to soak, stretch, and air dry the lace trim, but otherwise it held up like a champ.  The real winner is the Queen Cat bag, though, since I pretty much carry a water bottle at all times.

I wasn't sure I was going to keep my two pairs of booties, since where they cut off at the top of the ankle doesn't work well with most of my lolita coords, but turns out I really like them with the Putumayo pants (the chocolate pair looks good with the wine pants).

Other than that, I have been working on my capsule wardrobe again - 22 winter/fall items have been moved to storage or donated since I started, and I have 7 new and 4 back-out-of-storage items now in rotation (so the total number of items has been going down).

The red items are things I placed into storage last year.  The blue items are currently in the mail (regular stuff, though, so I might just share a couple of worn pics)!  The green item is a D.I.Y. project!  Let's see if I get around to it...
