Episode 8: Amazon, Bodyline, and Harajuku Hearts

"Ship's Log, Stardate 93855.29:
Everything that was in the post has finally arrived safely!

Room progress and items from Amazon:  

My room is a little more put together this week.  I still haven't started the transition into the Yellowstone theme, since I wanted to be certain the furniture worked before I purchased the decor, but so far I am very satisfied, especially with the new vanity and couch.

The antler wall piece is working better than I expected as a necklace holder.

Definitely going to switch to a curtain, photo edit to show both sides at once.

The chandelier has already been replaced with a white one, same background still.

And I'll replace my usual Trader Joe's bag with a cute recycling bin soon.

My makeshift "vanity" has now become a storage unit, now that the real one is here!
I also got some Etude vampire lip stain this week, tucked into one of the drawers.

Items from Bodyline:

I used to own one of Bodyline's old school headdresses, but I think I sold or gave it away.  I've been missing it and wanted to try a black and white version as well.  Also in the box were tights, a few cupcake jewelry boxes, and 5 more rose headbands.

I want to try some old school soon...

Not much to write home about on the tights (leopard print, for my LBD on date night), but the cupcake boxes are being used as jewelry boxes along with my ferris wheel pictured further up, and the rose headbands (which are only $1!) were taken apart and put back together as two way pins/hair clips, and the fifth became the final rose on my tricorn, which is pictured further down.

I wonder if they'll raise the price on these because of me...  I hope not, I want more.

Items from Harajuku Hearts:

I was a little bummed that the Putumayo mushroom ring broke clean off the ring base, like, immediately, but c'est la vie -  my nickel/cobalt dioxide allergy is off the charts, (I turn into the statue of liberty), so I had planned to replace or remove the ring base, so the bright side was that it was a very clean break and saves me the trouble.   The hat pin is super sturdy, however, an absolute winner and it has already helped hold some head gear in place in a recent outfit, and the bolero is perfect.

I cannot wait to wear this in a coord, I've already worn it to work!

And here's a recent outfit that was luckily not too warm as long as I took off the jacket using the black Fanplusfriend blouse I mentioned last week, and two of the Bodyline-rose-headbands-turned-clips.

This time, my lip color (Etude lip stain in "vampire") stayed on all day AND night.

I used the hat pin to help secure the beret, but wasn't able to get a non-awkward photo of it...
