Episode 4:
The Old Command Center

"Ship's Log, Stardate 93778.79:
We have received our new assignment.

Our transfer is on Stardate 93806.04.  This also changes my district for voting in the caucus this month, so once I update our new address with the DMV, I will need to re-register and confirm my new location as soon as possible.

Sweet new transporter, or breakfast nook?

The new Bear Command Center is a decent size, but I'll use this opportunity to craisglist some of my larger furniture, and stick to a few matching, easily cleanable pieces.  I am also going to finally purchase a rug for the new location, because as much as I love not having to vacuum labramute fur out of the carpet once a week, my feet get cold.

Here are a couple of top contenders for the job:

I love both rugs, but am torn between the forest floor woodland critter vibe, and the soft warm colors of the river bed.  Any opinions on these (or suggestions, these rugs are photographs by artists on Society6.com, so there are literally thousands of options) are definitely appreciated.

There has not been much investment in the current Command Center, due to the move, but it has had a fun journey so far since we have been assigned here.

Here is a timeline of gradual progression of my room/wardrobe
from 2010-Present

And just before the move:

I've got a lot of packing and cleaning to do, (and then eventually un-packing), and won't be ordering anything new until we are fully moved, but hopefully I can start creating a new, amazing space by the end of March.  I will keep brainstorming and share any new collages I come up with, or will share anything I end up purchasing for the room.

And of course, I will show it once it's complete, as well as tutorials for anything I D.I.Y.  At the very least, I think I may make faux-fur or faux-ivy covers for the fabric cubby drawers.

Whooo!  Now I feel like cleaning...  you?  That's alright.  It takes 21 one days for a chore to become a habit, give it time.  As always, I will leave this frequently open for response.

- Bear out!"
